Hi, I’m Azah, founder of Kissahh, a Malaysian slow fashion brand for women who want to look put-together without trying too hard.
But before that, I was just another corporate girlie juggling motherhood, running on caffeine, deadlines, and Google Calendar reminders. And for the longest time, getting dressed every morning? That felt like one more battle to fight.
The Morning Struggle: From Chaos to Closet Fatigue
My mornings start early. I’m usually the first one up. Making breakfast, sorting the kids out, packing bags, cleaning spills, finding someone’s lost shoe... and then somewhere in between, I realise I need to get dressed too. For meetings. For errands. For life.
But here's the problem: I had a wardrobe full of clothes but nothing that made me feel like myself. I always reached for the same go-to basics because they were safe, neutral, and didn’t need much thought.
Still, something was missing.
Why "Basic" Isn’t Always Enough
I didn’t want to wear trends and look like 30 other people in the same room.
I didn’t want anything loud.
